Relax be cool calm & collective

Boys must sleep enough & be relaxed. Those yeshivas who shelve five bochyrim in a dorm room for 16K a year, are good entrepeners, but....
If some one has never before in his life slept in such conditions, & under such stress is meant to learn all day, be diturbed & deprived sleep all night with people comming in & out smoking, shmoozing & boozing with loud music.
I think they may get more sleep in a jail cell & it is a lot less expensive, and possibly won't destroy the shiduch as much as a dorm room.

Perhaps the situation is different in Lakewood, but I lived in Ner Yisroel dorms for three years, not to mention dorms in Eretz Yisroel, and didn't have too much trouble sleeping. I am a light sleeper; little noises and lights tend to bother me. However, I manged to sleep fairly easily while in yehiva in Baltimore. Perhaps I'm not aware of how it is in Lakewood. Are the dorms really an all night party? It wasn't like that at Ner Yisroel. Please enlighten me if you can.

I don't know where you learn/learnt, but "such stress"? Since when did you know a bochur who was under stress in learning? It could be the shidduch putting him under stress and the lack of sleep not helping things, but not the other way round. In my (little) experience, there are always better dorms, less noisy, maybe a little more luxurious than others, but if someone can't cope with dorm life, then he probably isnt ready for a shidduch anyway.

Boy you never slept in a dorm for 9 years ith a Pepsi machine opposite your room & a private cookie vendor a few feet away. All you need is 5 guys in your room, with one returning from a date or wedding any given time day or night. Please tell me how are you supposed to sleep, learn, be fit, relaxed & Shiduch worthy?
If that is notstress never getting a decent nights sleep what is?
